Glin Castle stands on the banks of the River Shannon amidst a 500 acre demense. This Castle is one of Ireland’s great heritage houses, on land held for over 700 years by the FitzGerald family, hereditary Knights of Glin. The present Glin Castle, was built in the late 18th century with entertaining in mind.
There are 15 individually decorated bedrooms each with its own private bathroom, these can be reserved on an individual basis. Or, alternatively the entire castle can also be rented as a fully staffed unit for events such as small weddings, family reunion or corporate events. Perfectly located close to Limerick city Glin Castle offers great opportunities to explore all that the south west of Ireland.
