Family Vacation
My parents and cousin recently came for a 2-week vacation where we toured Northern India, mostly in the state of Uttarakhand. It was a lot of fun! And it was great to have my family finally see what I’ve been experiencing!
I will just list the places that we went:
RED FORT IN DELHI
INDIA GATE
QUTAB MINAR
LOTUS TEMPLE - kind of the like the Sydney Opera house
TAJ MAHAL
CORBETT TIGER RESERVE
On our day 1 Safari, a group of elephants got kind of alarmed by the jeeps and started slowly charging/walking towards us. They formed a mob, and hidden in the middle was a baby elephant that they were trying to protect!
GANGOTRI - holy site of first major tributary of the Ganges River.
Overall, We had a great vacation time!

Would like to book the Herbertstown Cottage for 2 adults and 2 children - starting 26th February, 2009, for days - to leave on Tuesday, 3rd March 09.
The cottage is for our children from UK and we would appreciate an urgent reply. We prefer the Herbertstown cottage because it is near to our own home a short distance from Loch Gur.
The family are respectable and careful people - both parents are doctors and the children are aged 3 and 2 and both well behaved.
Thank you
